January 2009 Update

Hey guys, sorry about the late update. First off, a happy (and belated) new year to y'all, and a Happy Australia Day, Chinese New Year or whatever the hell you're celebrating at this time of year.

Anywho, first up, 300,000 total views on YouTube! :D That's over 100,000 new views in less than a year. Not the most impressive feat, but it's certainly not bad considering my lack of mainstream appeal. :P

Second, Episodes 5 & 9 of Secret Lives have been muted by YouTube due to copyright restrictions by Warner Music. Episode 9 has been resubmited in a special new edition with replacement music, however episode 5 is yet to see a re-release with new audio, unfortunately.

Hometown Glory is currently available for viewing in 720p HD on YouTube. A HD version of Hometown Glory 2 has also been prepared, but is yet to be uploaded (and at this point, I'm not sure if I will). Monsieur Silloux is also available in 16:9 widescreen for those interested. These three videos can be found in my YouTube profile at http://www.youtube.com/user/sillygostly/

I'm also starring in a remake of the Nightmare on Elm Street series, aptly titled Nightmares on Elm Streets, where I play the leading role, Juan. The script was pretty poor and if the trailers are anything to go by, it's gonna tank. Confidentiality deemed TOO HOT for YouTube

Confidentiality - Director's Cut has been BANNED from YouTube and was slapped with a "Terms of Use" violation due to a HARASSMENT complaint made by the mother of a certain someone in the video. Mind you, this bitchy stunt was pulled without any prior notice and the allegations made towards the video were ludicrous. If this person had left a comment or sent me a personal message regarding the matter, all of this could have been settled without third-party intervention. If anybody has any issues with my videos (be it content, classification or IP concerns), CONTACT ME!

Anyway, a modified version with the "offending scene" removed is now available for viewing on YouTube, and will simply be titled Confidentiality, since the Kids Helpline scene was what made it a "Director's Cut" in the first place. Sorry for any inconvenience as I understand that it was certainly one of the more enjoyable scenes in the video. Check out my YouTube profile to see the vid.

24/7 SGP Live Stream!!!

The brand new, 24/7 live streaming Silly Gostly Productions Network is now online! All day, every day, you can tune into SGP videos and well as some of my favourite non-SGP videos all in one easy to access stream. At the moment, there's only about 3-4 hours of looping content, including Confidentiality, Being Malcolm, Mind of Mary and loads of music videos, with Secret Lives to be added soon along with EXCLUSIVE episodes of The Sketch House Inc, Mann, Secret Lives featurettes as well as the short film Forefront.

Also, this stream also allows us to broadcast LIVE content. There are no plans for this just yet, but this feature may be utilised in the future.

A speed run of the classic PC game Jones In The Fast Lane is now available for viewing on YouTube. And I'm currently uploading the first episode of Astro Fire. If I can't release episodes 2 and 3 by tonight, then they'll be released by tomorrow. Due to YouTube's 10 minute limit, all 3 episodes of Astro Fire will be split up into 2 separate videos. Silly finally gets his own video!

It's been quite a while since my last update, but anywho, I have an announcement to make...

Silly Gostly Productions is pleased to announce that our 5th official video for the year, Monsieur Silloux has started production today, and is likely to be released tomorrow. :)

Made with The Sims 1 (you've heard right), Monsieur Silloux is a parody of early 1900s silent films, and it follows Silly and his now-wife, Minnie the Ghost throughout the course of their romantic courtship. It's nothing much, since I did everything today, and I only made it specifically so I can enter it in the 9th round of the eBlah Video Song Contest (of which the current theme is "Halloween"), but I hope you'll all find it enjoyable all the same. :)

This is Silly's first ever non-logo appearance since Silly Gostly Productions was created back in 2006. The video is also a celebration of halloween, and it also coincides with Silly's 10th anniversary. :) Links to the video will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
